Version 6.2.77 - Compatible with OS400 V5R3M0 and above

Released - 17th May 2018

Cobwebb Communications Ltd. are proud to announce the latest Release Candidate [v6.2.77] of the Cobwebb Document Management Server software.

This is the latest version and includes Enhancments and Fixes. This will be promoted to the Production Version once proven.

Highlights

For a full list, read What's New in Cobwebb Document Management. Here are the highlights:

  • Advanced Reformatting Utility V1.9
    • Increased the number of Lines per Page (LPP) in the *FIRST Call. The total number of lines allowed on a page, including Header & Footer lines is now 249 (one line used for Page 1 of n & System i limit is 250). If you enter too many lines then the LPP will be automatically adjusted to the maximum allowed.
    • On an *FIRST Call all data is cleared in case the previous PPD did not end successfully or didn’t have an *LAST Call to print the data.
    • PARM2 of the *CONFIG Call may now be used to Override the Spool File Owner of the generated spool file (currently created with the same user as the original spool file).
  • CHTTPD V3.03 - Added JSON Output format.
  • Amend LREFUPD & AUPLUPD jobs which update the LREF Key in Docstore to retry if any Docstore keys are missing, instead of ending the job.
  • Update the Cobwebb Job Scheduler to allow mixed case in the Command String and increase the length of the internal command string to cater for lengthy commands.
  • Amend COBUNIQKEY to return *FOUND in PARM2 for the *KEY call if the key has been previously used.
Make DSTAPIF more informative when failing due to invalid file path.
